Motion Detector – Manage Tamper Alerts

If your motion detector is sending tamper alerts and nothing appears to be wrong with your sensor, it is likely that your sensor isn’t fully mounted on its bracket. Complete the following steps to fix it:

 

1-iconGo to your touchscreen panel and put your system in test mode.

 

2-iconGo to your motion detector and pull the detector off its bracket (Use a screw driver if necessary for your motion detector model)

 

3-iconPut the detector back in its bracket and make sure it snaps all the way into place and that there are not any gaps

 

4-iconReplace the cover and remount your sensor in its bracket

 

5-iconIf your sensor is still sending false tamper alerts even while properly mounted, contact Customer Care for assistance

 

6-iconBe sure to exit Test Mode on your touchscreen panel when you’re finished
