Avoid false alarms with a feature designed to give you extra time when you need it.

The Transmission Delay setting allows you to briefly pause the alarm signal being sent to our monitoring center after a sensor is triggered. This is especially helpful if you occasionally trip your alarm by mistake—you’ll have a few extra moments to disarm your system before a call is made.

Important: Life safety sensors like smoke and flood detectors are not affected by this setting—they’ll always send an immediate alert for your safety

How Transmission Delay Works

  • If the system is triggered and you disarm it within the delay window, the panel will show “Alarm Aborted,” and the monitoring center will not be contacted.
  • If the system is not disarmed in time, the alert is sent to the monitoring center automatically.

How to Adjust Your Delay Time

  1. Tap "Settings" (top right of your panel)
  2. Enter your 4-digit Master Code
  3. Select "System"
  4. Tap "Exit Delay"
  5. Adjust your delay time using the + / – buttons

Tip: Setting the right delay time can help avoid false alarms while still keeping your home protected. Adjust as needed—your system works with your lifestyle.
